Why Warden & Co
What sets us apart from other financial education options.
We are a fee-only education practice. No products. No commissions. No upselling. Content built specifically for Malaysian households, delivered at a pace that allows for genuine understanding.
Back to HomeAt a Glance
Six reasons households choose Warden & Co.
No Financial Products Sold
Our sole income is programme fees paid by participants. We have no commercial relationship with any bank, fund house, insurance company, or broker.
Built for Malaysia
Every piece of content — from statement formats to estate frameworks — references Malaysian institutions and regulations. Not adapted from overseas, written here.
Small Group Delivery
Workshops are capped and multi-session programmes run one or two households at a time. Facilitators work with your actual documents, not generic examples.
Tangible Materials Included
Every programme concludes with something you keep: printed review sheets, a written household summary, or a reference document — not just a memory of slides.
Scheduled Around Working Life
Saturday workshops and three-week intervals in the longer engagement are chosen to fit ordinary employment schedules without requiring leave or disruption.
Self-Contained Programmes
Each programme has a defined scope and a defined end. Completing one does not create an obligation or expectation to purchase another. The decision to continue is yours.
Expertise
Facilitators who know Malaysian financial life from the inside.
Our facilitators have worked in Malaysian financial education before founding Warden & Co. They are familiar with the specific institutions, regulations, and everyday challenges that Malaysians encounter when trying to understand their own finances.
That background shapes how each session is run. Facilitators do not translate overseas examples into a Malaysian context — the examples are Malaysian from the start. EPF account structures, DuitNow e-wallet histories, maybank2u statement formats: these are the reference points participants actually need.
What this means in practice
- Questions about your specific bank or e-wallet are answered accurately, not estimated
- Estate content reflects actual Malaysian law — faraid, Amanah Raya, EPF nomination rules
- Investment discussion references EPF and PRS structures, not foreign account types
- Programme content is reviewed annually against Malaysian regulatory changes
How we treat participants
- Enquiries are answered within two working days with full, clear information
- No pressure during the enquiry process — questions are welcome before any commitment
- Participants are not rushed through sessions; questions that arise are answered fully
- Post-programme follow-up by email for minor clarifications, at no additional charge
Participant Experience
A patient pace that respects your time and decisions.
We are aware that financial topics can feel uncomfortable, especially when examined in some detail for the first time. Warden & Co sessions are run quietly and without pressure. Facilitators make space for questions and do not move on until participants are clear.
Enrolment enquiries receive straightforward replies. There are no artificial deadlines or pressure to commit. Participants who want to think it over, discuss with a partner, or ask further questions are welcome to do so.
Value & Pricing
Transparent fees. No hidden costs or follow-on obligations.
Programme fees are published on our Solutions page. The price you see covers the full programme — sessions, materials, and facilitator time. There are no add-ons, optional extras, or upgrade prompts during delivery.
The cost of a one-day workshop is modest relative to the financial decisions it helps participants approach with more confidence. The longer engagements represent a considered commitment and are priced to reflect the depth of attention they involve.

What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive features of the Warden & Co approach.
The Review Sheet System
The Monthly Review workshop introduces a one-page review sheet that participants use for twelve months after the workshop. The sheet is designed for the Malaysian context and is simple enough to complete in twenty minutes. No software, no subscription, no account to create.
Household-Level Thinking
The estate programme and the long-horizon engagement are designed for households, not just individuals. Couples or household members attending together can work through questions that only make sense at the household level — joint accounts, shared insurance, estate arrangements affecting both parties.
Written Summaries as a Deliverable
The Long-Horizon Household Engagement concludes with a short written summary document prepared for the household. This is a working reference — not a sales proposal, not a generic template — drafted from the work done across the four months of meetings and reading.
Dual-Framework Estate Coverage
The Understanding Estate Basics programme addresses both Muslim estate arrangements (faraid, Amanah Raya, Islamic insurance nominations) and non-Muslim estate arrangements (wills, probate, EPF nominations) in a single four-session programme. Participants choose which modules apply to their household.
