Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 18 April 2025  ·  Warden & Co, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

These terms and conditions apply to all enrolments in programmes offered by Warden & Co and to use of our website. Please read them carefully before enrolling. By submitting an enquiry or enrolment, you indicate that you have read and understood these terms.

If anything here is unclear, you are welcome to contact us before proceeding. We are happy to explain any point in plain language.

1. About Warden & Co

Warden & Co is a financial education provider registered in Malaysia. We offer structured programmes designed to help adults and households build clearer understanding of personal finance topics.

We are not a licensed financial adviser, investment adviser, tax adviser, or legal practitioner. Nothing in our programmes constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing should be relied upon as such. Our programmes are educational in nature.

Where a programme touches on areas such as estate planning or investment accounts, participants are encouraged to consult a licensed practitioner before making any decisions based on what they have learned.

2. Enrolment and Programme Access

Enrolment is confirmed only after we have received your completed enquiry form, agreed on a suitable programme date or schedule, and received full payment of the programme fee.

Our programmes are designed for adults aged 18 and over who are residents of or familiar with the Malaysian financial landscape. We reserve the right to decline any enrolment at our discretion.

Programme details — including session dates, times, venue or platform, and any pre-reading materials — will be provided to confirmed participants by email no fewer than five business days before the first session.

Each enrolment covers one participant only, unless we have expressly confirmed otherwise in writing. For the Long-Horizon Household Engagement, a household unit of two persons may enrol under a single booking.

3. Fees and Payment

Programme fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of all materials mentioned in the programme description. Fees do not include transport, accommodation, or any third-party costs you may incur.

Current fees are as follows:

  • Monthly Review Habit Workshop — RM 520 per participant
  • Understanding Estate Basics — RM 1,850 per participant
  • Long-Horizon Household Engagement — RM 4,400 per household unit

Payment is due in full prior to the start of the programme. We accept bank transfer to the account details we will provide upon confirmation of your enrolment. We do not store payment card details.

We reserve the right to adjust programme fees for future intake cycles. Fees confirmed at the time of enrolment will not change for that enrolment.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation by participant

If you need to cancel your enrolment, please notify us in writing at the earliest opportunity. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation 14 or more calendar days before the first session: full refund, less any bank transfer charges.
  • Cancellation 7 to 13 calendar days before the first session: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation fewer than 7 calendar days before the first session: no refund, though we will endeavour to transfer your enrolment to a future intake where possible.

For multi-session programmes, once the first session has been delivered, the portion of the fee attributable to sessions already held is non-refundable. We will assess any remaining balance on a pro-rata basis.

Cancellation or rescheduling by Warden & Co

We make every effort to deliver confirmed programmes as scheduled. In the event we need to postpone or cancel a session, we will notify you as early as practicable. If we are unable to offer a suitable alternative date within 60 days, you are entitled to a full refund of amounts paid.

5. Participant Conduct

We ask that all participants approach sessions with a spirit of mutual respect, both toward facilitators and fellow participants. Sessions are conducted in a calm, considered environment, and we ask that everyone observe this tone.

Recording of any session — whether audio, video, or screen capture — is not permitted without our prior written consent.

Programme materials (printed review sheets, written summaries, and handouts) are provided for the personal use of enrolled participants and may not be reproduced, distributed, or made available to others without our written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

All programme content, frameworks, materials, and website content are the intellectual property of Warden & Co. Nothing in these terms grants you any licence to reproduce, adapt, or make available any of our content beyond personal use.

You may share your personal notes and reflections freely. You may not share or sell our materials or frameworks in any form.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our programmes are educational. We do not accept responsibility for any financial decisions you make following participation in a programme, or for any outcomes — financial, personal, or otherwise — arising from the application of concepts covered in a session.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Warden & Co's total liability to any participant in connection with a programme shall not exceed the fee paid by that participant for that programme.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms and conditions. By enrolling, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your enrolment will govern that enrolment. The most current version is always available at this address.
