Monthly Review Habit Workshop
"I have been meaning to do something about my finances for a long time but never quite knew where to start. The review sheet is something I can actually use — it took me about twenty minutes last month and I spotted a recurring charge I had completely forgotten about. The workshop was calm and nobody made me feel embarrassed for not knowing things."

Understanding Estate Basics
"My wife and I attended together. We learned that our EPF nominations were not what we thought — there was a difference between nominations under different account types that neither of us knew. We now have a much clearer list of what we need to discuss with a lawyer. The programme does not tell you what to do, which I appreciated. It showed us what the picture looks like and left the decisions to us."

Long-Horizon Household Engagement
"We spent four months going through our finances in a way we had never done before. I work in healthcare and my husband in engineering — neither of us had the financial background to know what questions to even ask. The written summary at the end is something we have returned to three times since. It is not glamorous content, but it is exactly what we needed."

Understanding Estate Basics
"As a Muslim, I appreciated that the faraid content was treated with the seriousness it deserves. The facilitator explained how faraid distributes the estate and how that interacts with what a will can and cannot do for a Muslim estate in Malaysia. I left with a clear sense of what I need to arrange and who to speak to."

Monthly Review Habit Workshop
"I am self-employed and my income varies month to month, which makes tracking difficult. The workshop gave me a framework that actually accommodates variable income rather than assuming a steady salary. Three months in and I am still using the sheets. I do find the habit is easier to keep when the format makes sense for your actual situation."

Long-Horizon Household Engagement
"What I valued most was that nobody tried to sell us anything. Every other financial engagement we have had resulted in someone trying to move our money somewhere. Warden & Co is entirely educational and it shows in how the sessions are run. The three-week intervals give you time to actually read through what was discussed before the next meeting."
Case Studies
A closer look at how participants used what they learned.
Monthly Review Workshop
The Situation
A single professional in her thirties had multiple bank accounts, a GrabPay wallet, and an EPF account, none of which she reviewed regularly. She was not in difficulty but felt uncertain about her position.
After the Workshop
She identified two standing charges she had forgotten authorising and cancelled them. She began a monthly review habit that she described as "the one financial thing I actually keep doing."
What She Said
"It is not complicated. That was the surprise. I thought I needed something more involved."
Estate Basics Programme
The Situation
A couple in their forties, one Muslim and one non-Muslim, were unsure how estate arrangements worked for a mixed-faith household. Neither had a current will. EPF nominations had not been updated since their children were born.
After the Programme
They updated EPF nominations and spoke to a solicitor about wills for the non-Muslim partner. The Muslim partner arranged a consultation with Amanah Raya. The programme gave them the vocabulary and framework to have that conversation productively.
What They Said
"We had put this off for years because it felt complicated. Four sessions made it manageable."
Long-Horizon Engagement
The Situation
A household with two working adults approaching their fifties. They had EPF, PRS, unit trusts, and insurance across several providers but no clear picture of how these sat together relative to their intended retirement horizon.
After the Engagement
The written summary documented their full position across all accounts for the first time. They identified a gap in medical coverage and began a voluntary EPF contribution. The husband described the process as "like finally reading the whole book rather than skimming it."
What They Said
"The summary document has been the most useful thing we have done financially in years."
